Menno Youth Singers is looking for youth aged 14-22 years who like to sing and are interested in joining us for our 7th season.

Practices are held every Wednesday evening (September-May) at Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church, 57 Stirling Avenue in Kitchener.

Applications for the Winter 2012 season are now being accepted with auditions taking place by contacting

Menno Youth Singers

 

Founded in September 2004 by Judith Bean, The Menno Youth Singers consists of 22 youth and young adults between the ages of 14 to 22 years and from across Waterloo Region. The Menno Youth Singers are directed by Judith Bean and accompanied by Christine Klaver-Schmidt.

 

The philosophy of the choir is to strive for excellence in performance, and give choristers an opportunity to gain a life-long appreciation for music. Membership is open to all young adults of any faith who love music.

 

The Menno Youth Singers perform annual Christmas and Spring Concerts, as well as joining other local choirs in concert.

 

As well, MYS is featured on a new CD “Cloths of Heaven” (2009) produced by the Menno Singers family of choirs.
